The drone might be freaking out, but thats ok for now, we have to setup the controller.ġ4) Click Input, the Connected Device should read Radiomaster TX16S Joystick.ġ5) In Input, click "Toggle Hints" to remove the green step 1, step 2, etc that will obscure your vision.ġ6) Set the values as follows, I have a left hand throttle transmitter and I am running the quad profile which may change these mappings, I am not sure. I don't know if this appeared on my PC due to having the OpenTX Companion installed or something else, but it causes the controller to not be recognized in FPV Air 2.Ħ) Right click on the device named BETTER_USB_HS in the device manager, and choose Update Driver.ħ) In the resulting window click Browse my computer for driver software.Ĩ) Don't worry about searching or a search location, Click: Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer.ĩ) In the next screen there should be two drivers listed in the compatible hardware list: BETTER_USB_HS and USB Input Device.ġ0) Click on USB Input Device and Click Next.ġ1) A progress bar will be shown briefly, and the window should say: Windows has successfully updated your drivers.

The root of the problem is that Windows identified another driver as a better match than the default USB Input Device HID driver.ġ) Turn on your TX16S and allow it to start up and reach the main screen.Ģ) Connect the USB cable from your PC to the USB-C port on top of your TX16S, under the flap near the antenna.ģ) On the TX16S a prompt should appear (if you are using the default USB setting) asking it you want to use the device as a USB Joystick (HID) or USB Storage (SD), choose USB Joystick, click down the roller to select.ģ) Allow your windows PC to install the drivers/setup the device.Ĥ) Open Device Manager on your PC by searching for it in the start menu, or finding it in the control panel.ĥ) In Device Manager look for a new category of devices named: libusb-win32 devices, which should have one device under it named BETTER_USB_HS. I was able to solve it, there are a few things that I had to do. Hi, I just tried the same thing today and had a similar issue.
